The Walls Project
Montpelier High School

In 2016, a team from MHS comprised of English, social studies, orchestra, and biology teachers partnered with CEL teaching artists Gowri Savor (visual art) and Evan Premo (music) to lead students to explore how walls existed in their lives.

Watch the video to learn how the students created physical walls and a music composition, featuring Dame Evelyn Glennie, that deepened their commitment to learning and strengthened their creative and critical thinking skills.
